Part of my watercolour series: Sands, Sticks & Stones
SAND:
To create a large scale illusion of sand in a painting is a challenge.
The technical skill required comes with experience for sand has an infinite variety of tones, colours and textures. With its smoothness, the sand acts as a counterpoint to the solidity and texture of the stones. This painting has been in progress with subtle modifications made in recent times.

「沙、枝、石」水彩系列之一。
「沙」：在畫中創作出大幅的沙之幻覺是一大挑戰。其技巧源自於對沙的色調、色彩與質感的經驗。沙的滑順，對比石的堅實質感。本畫作於近期做過幾次些微修飾。
