In my paintings, be that concrete individual and thing or abstract dots, lines, and shape, each existence certainly denotes meanings. Things born out of nowhere in painting, or those removed, surely serve certain purposes. From ideation to arrangement, composition, and retouching finally, to add or to remove, ask yourself the reason and purpose constantly before setting in motion, so that the picture will stay active in performance.

在我的畫裡，無論是具象的人事物、還是抽象的點線面， 每一種存在，都必須有意義。在畫中無中生有的事物，或刪去多餘的事物，都要有明確目的。從發想、佈局、構圖到最後修飾完成，是丟還是撿，隨時隨地追問自己原因與目的再出手，畫面就會一直抱持活躍的效能。
