The wide street in the childhood memory is nothing but a smally alley today.
Ask not for opinions of others as no one knows better what you want than yourself. Care not judgement of others as no one judges you harder than yourself. Trust not praises of others as no one sees if you are good enough better than yourself.

小時候印象中寬敞的街道，如今看來不過只是小巷小弄。
不用尋求別人的意見，因為沒人比你更知道你要的是什麼。不須理會別人的批評，因為沒人比你批判自己更嚴厲。不要相信別人的讚美，因為沒人比你更清楚自己夠不夠好。
