新竹縣北埔鄉南埔村是傳統的客家聚落，處處稻香四溢。居住在三合院的阿婆陳林四妹，個性內向樸實、勤儉持家，是客家女性的好典範，在靦腆的笑容中，流露出母親滿滿的慈愛！此張作品榮獲2014年法國世界水彩大賽金牌獎。
The Nanpu Village of Beipu Township, Hsinchu County is a traditional Hakka community full of the fragrance of rice. Si Mei Chen-Lin, a grandma living in Sanheyuan, is an introverted, simple, thrifty lady and a model of the Hakka females. It is the full motherly love underneath her shy smile! This artwork won the Golden Medal of the World Watercolour Competition of France.
