生命當中，「生」與「滅」之間的轉化，一直是我感興趣的議題。大自然當中的一切，無論是有生命或是無生命體，都會隨著時間而改變其樣貌，但唯一不會改變的是「本質」。此作品透過少女與海螺之間流逝的物質，說明「人」與「自然」背後的「本質」其實是一樣的。
The transformation in between the “birth” and “decease” in life always charms me. Everything in the Mother Nature, whether it be life form or not, will change its appearance in time. Yet, the only thing remains is the “essence”. Via the fleeting matters between the young girl and the conch, this artwork demonstrates that the “essence” underneath “humanity” and “Nature” is the same.
