Lien Jansen

澳洲 布魯斯本 | 1950 -

Lien completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts at the University of Canberra in 2018. In recent years, her practice has expanded beyond portraiture to include seascapes, landscapes, and lotus flowers. She finds inspiration in the meeting of water, rock, sky, and land—subjects that carry symbolic weight, reflecting resilience, transformation, and the beauty of impermanence. Her work has been regularly exhibited in group exhibitions, including the Taiwan Imagery Exhibition during the Taiwan Cultural Festival (2024) and held three solo exhibitions, her next group show scheduled for February 2026. In addition to painting, Lien broadened her creative journey by publishing her first children’s picture book, The Shining Moon (2021), a dragon story inspired by her childhood dreams and her longing for the presence of both loving parents. Lien’s artistic practice continues to evolve, weaving together personal experience, cultural memory, and a profound engagement with the natural world.
